It's the clash of the home nations, England and Wales will meet in their final Group B game tomorrow (29 November), and a win is crucial for the Welsh team.

If it's an England victory, they will top their group and sail into the last 16. On the other hand, Wales need to beat England and hope the USA and Iran draw in the other Group B match.

England will be hoping to go one better than their Euro 2020 final loss and walk away from Qatar with the World Cup trophy. But is it possible? Former England striker Teddy Sheringham certainly thinks so.

Last week, we caught up with the ex-Manchester United player at The BUDX Official FIFA Fan Festival at Here at Outernet, London.

He said: "I'm pleased with the squad Gareth Southgate has picked. Hopefully, we've got enough to take the game to the opposition. I firmly believe we can win the tournament. "

"This group of players with this management have come very close before, and they all know what they should or shouldn't be doing now. I know they haven't had the best few months, but I expect us to go one better in the World cup."

After the team beat Iran 6-2 in their first game of the tournament, they could only manage a lacklustre draw against the USA in their second match as they struggled to create chances to score.

Many England fans were left baffled by the manager's tactics when he failed to bring on Manchester City star Phil Foden as a substitute, and Teddy,56, can understand why.

He said: "I would have liked to have seen Phil Foden and Jack Grealish on the pitch from the start. I am a big Jack Grealish fan. I think Declan Rice will be England's best player in the tournament, as he was at the Euros; he gets on with the game and leads by example."

"When you play against defences, it's not just about the striker on the team. You have to bring some other players forward, so it's good that Gareth hasn't gone for two sitters. He's got some forward-thinking players in Rice and Phillips."

Let the Battle of Britain commence.

Watch England vs Wales on Tuesday 29th November from 5pm at The BUDX Official FIFA Fan Festival at Here at Outernet, London with special DJ performance from Joel Corry and half-time commentary from former Lioness Fara Williams. Tickets from £45
